RELATHERM PAG Extended Life Heat Transfer Fluid

Engineered thermal fluid formulated as a better alternative to the UCON 500® PolyAlkylene Glycol Fluid. Unlike its predecessor which has a low oxidative stability and a short service life, Relatherm PAG is a premium PolyAlkylene Glycol heat transfer fluid infused with a proprietary additive formula that gives it a considerably longer service life, extreme resistance to oxidation and a much lower degradation tendency. For this reason, it is a popular choice in many open baths and non-blanketed systems.

THE RELATHERM ADVANTAGE

Relatherm PAG’s proprietary additive system sets it apart from other industry fluids. Its advanced thermofluid technology was designed with demanding applications and full compatibility in mind.  It has an exceptionally long service life in typically problematic applications including die casting, plastic processing, textiles manufacturing etc.

Relatherm PAG is also compatible with most mineral-oil based heat transfer fluids. As such, changeovers are seamless. In comparison with other industry fluids, it provides a higher performance and a much safer, cleaner, and thermally stable equipment operation for a longer period of time.

EXTENDED FLUID LIFE

Relatherm PAG is well known for it extended service life, even in oxidation-prone systems. Its superior additive technology extends its usability under operating conditions at which other industry fluids would typically degrade.

MAXIMUM OXIDATION PROTECTION

Relatherm PAG greatly minimizes sludge formation in heat transfer systems and the fouling of heat transfer surfaces by virtue of its robust additive technology. It features industry-leading two-stage anti-oxidation additive package and a complimentary mix of metal deactivators, rust inhibitors, defoamers, seal/gasket extenders and other proprietary agents. For many systems, Relatherm PAG provides lower maintenance costs, longer uptime and less frequent fluid changeouts.
