RELATHERM VLT Very Low Temperature Heat Transfer Fluid
Extended life thermal fluid used extensively for process cooling in chillers and other cryogenic equipment. It can cool down to -45°C/-50°F and maintains excellent pumpability in the sub-zero temperature range. By virtue of its wide temperature bandwidth, Relatherm VLT can also serve as a dual-use thermal fluid, eliminating the need for two different fluids where heating and cooling are required in one process.

Relatherm VLT is the result of extensive thermofluid research. It is manufactured from a blend of high purity base fluids and advanced additives that provide extreme cooling, an extended fluid life and trouble-free operation in low temperature applications. It features a sophisticated two-stage anti-oxidation additive package, metal deactivators, rust inhibitors, seal/gasket extenders and other proprietary agents. These provide for a safer, cleaner, and thermally stable chiller or cryogenic equipment operation.

MAXIMUM OXIDATION PROTECTION
Relatherm VLT offers extreme oxidation protection. It greatly minimizes sludge formation in heat transfer systems and the fouling of heat transfer surfaces by virtue of its robust additive technology. It contains highly effective oxidation mitigants, making it the best choice in many cooling applications. For these, Relatherm VLT provides lower maintenance costs, longer uptime and less frequent fluid changeouts.
HEALTH, SAFETY & THE ENVIRONMENT
In addition to being personnel friendly, Relatherm VLT is environmentally friendly and non-reportable. There are no special handling procedures for fluid disposal. After its long-service life, it can be disposed with other waste oils/lubricants in accordance with applicable statutes.
